Protective effect of DAPT against endotoxemia and experimental sepsis. Pretreatment with DAPT (100 mg/kg) dissolved in corn oil attenuated a sublethal dose of LPS (5 μg/kg) induced TNF-α (A), IL-1β (B), and IL-6 (C) secretion in plasma. (D) LPS-induced sFlt-1 secretion was enhanced by DAPT treatment which resulted in decreased plasma free form VEGF levels.
