Overexpression of TRX reduces H 2 O 2 -induced cytotoxicity. Freshly isolated islets were transduced with Lt-eGFP or Lt-TRX. After 48 h culture, islets were treated with H2O2 at different concentrations for 18 h. Islet cell viability was measured by the MTT assay. The viability results are expressed as mean ± SD of three independent experiments.
