Effects of HG/SMG on the proliferation of BMSCs. BMSCs were plated onto glass coverslips, transferred to a biocompatible polyethylene culture bag [27], then cultured under HG or SMG conditions for 1--7 days. The cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and proliferation was assessed by the methylene blue method.
