TauT is directly regulated by c-Jun. Reporter genes were transiently transfected in MDCK cells co-transfected with or without c-Jun for 24 h, and then the luciferase assay was performed on cell lysates. A. Electrophoretic mobility shift assays were done using radiolabelled TauT oligonucleotides with nuclear extracts from Rat I cells expressing c-Jun.
