Knockdown of Orai1 and STIM1 reduced the EGF-mediated cell proliferation and migration in ARPE-19 cells. (A i, ii) ARPE-19 cells were transfected with Orai1 and STIM1 siRNA. Expression of Orai1 and STIM1 was detected by real-time PCR (i) and Western blots (ii). (B-C) ARPE-19 cells transfected with Orai1 and STIM1 siRNA suppressed the 25 ng/mL EGF-induced cell proliferation and migration. WST-1 assay or cell migration assay was used in the study.
