(B) Two deleted regions that result in a 48-amino acid deletion (gray area) and 31-amino acid frame-shift (underlined). (C) The differences in the functional domains of the new p53 variant are one deletion (Δ42-89) and one reading frame-shift (amino acids 90-120). Other important functional domains, containing TAD1, C-terminal DBD, TD and RD, were intact.
