The contralateral and ipsilateral cerebral hemisphere NO levels (A and B), superoxide anion contents (D and E), and peroxynitrite production (G and H) were examined in control, DM, and DMI rats with FC I/R injury. The ratio of ipsilateral to contralateral cerebral NO (C), superoxide (F), and peroxynitrite (I) levels was also evaluated among three groups.
