TJY-16 inhibits the growth of glioma cells in vivo by inducing apoptosis. a 1 × 106 U87 glioma cells inoculated subcutaneously into the right flank of nude mice (n = 6 for each group). When the tumors reached 40 to 80 mm3 in volume, TJY-16 (24 mg/kg) were administered intraperitoneally every 24 h for 10 days and tumor volume was measured for another 20 days after the cessation of treatment.
