Basic Structure of ERM Proteins. All ERM proteins possess similar domain structure with the N terminus having F1, F2 and F3 subdomains. At the central portion of the protein is an α-helical domain which is followed by a linker region. At the last 30 carboxyl terminal end is the F-actin binding site
