From: Adducin family proteins possess different nuclear export potentials
The ADD proteins may contain multiple nuclear export signals in different domains. a HA-ADD1, b HA-ADD2, c HA-ADD3 and their respective constructs for the tail domain (tail) or the tail domain fused to the head (head + tail) or the neck domain (neck + tail) were generated. The constructs were transiently expressed in HEK293 cells and their expression was analyzed by immunoblotting with anti-HA antibody. The constructs were transiently expressed in NIH3T3 cells and their distribution in the nucleus and cytoplasm was measured (n > 600). The values (mean ± SD) are from three experiments
