Liver CLEC18 expression in human liver chimeric mice with HBV infection. Total RNA was extracted from liver tissues in liver chimeric mice at 10 and 26 weeks of HBV infection. The RNA was subjected to reverse transcription into cDNA as described in the “Materials and Methods” section. Liver CLEC18 cDNA level was quantified by real-time PCR using hybridization probes. The non-significant (N.S.) and significant (P <  0.001; Student’s t-test) results of statistical analysis were obtained by comparing each group to the non-HBV infected group. All data shown are representative of three independent experiments (number of mice in each group = 3). n.d.: non-detectable
