Knockdown of NFBD1 enhances NPC cells to be sensitive to PARP inhibitor olaparib. (a) Cells were plated at low density, irradiated and colonies counted after 10–14 days. Results are normalized for effects of NFBD1 and fitted to a standard linear quadratic model. (b) NFBD1 knockdown enhanced the cytotoxicity to olaparib in a dose-dependent manner. shControl and shNFBD1 cells were treated with various concentrations of olaparib for 24 h. Cell viability was measured using MTS assays. The data are presented as the mean ± SD of triplicate determinations. IC50 values are presented as the mean ± SD of triplicate determinations. **P < 0.01 and ***P < 0.001
