Schematic diagram of the vectors used in this investigation. The CMV promoter is incorporated into scAAV2 either a in conjunction with the hG-CSF cDNA open reading frame or b in conjunction with the GFP cDNA open reading frame. The SV40 polyA (SV40pA) sequence and the inverted terminal repeat sequence (ITR) are also incorporated into the scAAV vectors (dITR denotes the mutated ITR in the 5 prime end which enables generation of self-complementary AAV).
