Spot tests of the three capsule depolymerases from phage vB_KpnM‐20, K7dep, K20dep, and K27dep. Four microliters of aliquots containing either 100, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 5, 2.5, or 1 ng of K7dep, K20dep, or K27dep capsule depolymerase were spotted on individual lawns of Klebsiella K7 (K7ref), K20 (5262, A13, and KP440), and K27-type (K27ref) strains, and an E. coli K30-type strain. A K1-type strain (NTUH-K2044) was used as negative control for the three enzymes of which 100 ng were spotted. Semi-clear zones were observed when capsules were digested
