HepG2 cells were treated with 0, 1, and 5 μM simvastatin for 22 hours and further incubated with [35S]-methionine. After incubation, cells were lysed with lysis buffer and the resulting cell lysates were subjected to immunoprecipitation. Cell lystaes were further analyzed by SDS-PAGE/Fluorography and radioactivity of HSA protein bands were quantified by liquid scintillation counting.
