Organelle Extracellular Release. a. Melanosome extracellular release: melanosomes, derived from multivesicular bodies (MVBs), are transported to the tip of melanocytes’ dendrites and released. The released melanosomes are subsequently taken up by neighboring keratinocytes. Yellow: Endoplasmic reticulum (ER); Red: Golgi apparatus b.
