  1. Cells were treated with tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF- α, 20 ng/mL), lipopolysaccharide (LPS, 10 ng/mL), diethyl maleate (DEM, 100 μM), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2, 2 mM) and 3-morpholinosyndomine (SIN-1, 1 mM) for 24 hrs, respectively. [3H]Taurine (28 nM) uptake was performed at 37°C for 5 min. Each value represents the mean ± SEM (n=3-4). *p<0.05, ** p<0.01 significantly different from the control.
