Protein levels myocardial Bcl-2 at 2 and 24 hours after reperfusion (n = 8 at each time point). Bcl-2 levels were detected by immunohistochemical staining. PostC elevated Bcl-2 expression in myocardial (brown staining) at both 2 and 24 hours after reperfusion. AG490 abrogated the up-regulation of Bcl-2 levels by PostC.
