Ultrastructural patterns of neuronal IFs aggregates in degenerating cultured sympathetic neurons from dt/dt embryos. At the ultrastructural level, IF aggregates and randomly oriented IFs were observed in cultured sympathetic neurons from embryonic dt/dt mice (A). Neuronal IFs formed aggregates in soma, suggesting its involvement in the degeneration of neurons from dt/dt mice. Random orientation of IFs and axonal organelles was observed in the swelling processes of sympathetic neurons from dt/dt embryos (B).
