Effect of kinase and ROS inhibitors on PDGF-BB-induced VSMC migration. VSMCs were preincubated with DMSO, kinase inhibitors (10 μM; PD for PD98059, SB for SB202190, and LY for LY294002) or ROS inhibitors (NAC, 10 mM; trolox, 200 μM) for 30 min. Cells were added in the upper chamber and assembled with the lower chamber containing media in the presence of PBS (basal) or PDGF-BB (10 ng/ml). After incubation for 3 h, cells migrated to the underside of filter membrane were photographed as described in Methods.
