The number of FoxO1-positive nuclei was expressed as a percentage of total nuclei. (B) Atrial myocardial sections from the heart recipient and donor patients were subjected to immunostaining with anti-acetyl p53 antibody (red) and DAPI (blue). The number of acetyl-p53 positive nuclei was expressed as a percentage of total nuclei detected by DAPI staining.
