BetA enhances TGF-β-induced cell death in Mv1Lu cells. Cells were pretreated with BetA for 4 h and stimulated with 20 pM of TGF-β for 30 h. The MTT (cell viability) assay showed that BetA enhanced TGF-β-induced cell death in a concentration-dependent manner after 30 h of exposure to BetA. Data represents the mean ± SD (n = 3). **Significantly lower than that in cells treated with TGF-β alone (P < 0.01)
