Effects of myrAkt on phagocytosis and phosphorylation levels of phagocytosis-related kinases in macrophages. The normal 〔myr-Akt(−)〕 and myrAkt-expressing 〔myr-Akt(+)〕 RAW 264.7 cells were coincubated with the washed bacteria at MOI 10 for 90 min. The total amount and phosphorylation level at the indicated amino acid residue(s) of each kinase (a) as well as the internalized bacteria number (b) were then estimated by immunoblotting and gentamycin protection assay, respectively.
