Bar graphs show basal MAP (top) and HR (bottom) before oral administration of 3.2 g/kg ethanol (n = 7) or saline (n = 7) at different days of treatment in freely moving rats. Ethanol (10 mL/kg, 40% (v/v)) or saline (10 mL/kg) was given by gavage once every day for 8 consecutive days. The values of MAP and HR represent an average value of 60 min recordings before ethanol or saline administration at each day of treatment
